It is with the heaviest heart that the Lower Swatara Fire Department announces the passing of Life Member Edward Craig. Ed served the department and the residents of Lower Swatara Twp for many years as a Fire Police Officer. Ed was know by many of the older members as "fast Eddy". Although unable to be as active as he would have liked in recent years, Ed remained a Life Member of the Department and will not be forgotten. The members of the Lower Swatara Fire Department, Ladies Auxiliary, and Fire Police send our condolences to the family members of Edward Craig. Rest in peace Edward "fast Eddy" Craig, you will be missed.

A tribute to Edward's life will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 10:30 am at the Matincheck Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. 260 East Main Street, Middletown PA, 17057. There will be a viewing from 8:30 am until the hour of service at the funeral home. Internment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence, 1701 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg PA, 17110.
