Last Evening at approx 11:00 pm, LSFD Members were alerted to a structure fire on Canyon Road in Swatara Twp. Engine 59 responded with with 6 (Ofcr. Lt. Zeiders) and arrived as second due engine laying 600 ft. of 5 inch supply line. Two 1 3/4" handlines were placed into service as well as a high rise pack. Crews were put to task with primary search, fire attack, roof ventilation, and overhaul. Crews were in service for approx two and a half hours on scene and then returned to station for cleanup and repacking of hose. Chief 59 also responded and served as part of the command structure for the incident.
